KNOW WHAT TO ASK FOR

Testosterone replacement therapy may be effective in these instances. It is usually administered by an injection, patch, or oral medication. These are commonly called penis pumps and they work by manually drawing blood into the penis to promote the development of an erection. They are often used in conjunction with a tension ring that helps maintain the erection by preventing the blood from escaping. Find anyone one of these, or a combination of them, to be effective and you’ll be pleased to never have to ask ‘how much is Viagra?’ ever again. Sildenafil citrate's duration of action is about 4–5 hours in most men.
Effects can be enhanced by sexual stimulation; it does not cause automatic erections.
The half-life is approximately 4 hours, with peak plasma levels at 1 hour.
In Canada, sildenafil is often dosed "as needed" rather than daily use.
A lower daily dose (25 mg) is sometimes used for continuous therapy off-label.

If you prefer the brand name, ask for it by name.

Viagra Alternatives

Viagra is indeed one of the pricier prescription medications out there. But for some men the reality is if they don’t take erectile dysfunction medication, then their sex life and marriage may suffer as a result. In that sense it’s as ‘necessary’ as some of the medications that you CAN claim as part of Medicare’s Extra Help program. No doubt all of this still doesn’t dull the sticker shock you’ll get from coming to understand how much is Viagra for consumers, but hopefully there is some measure of appeasement in knowing that meds are not exclusively the be-all-end-all solution to erectile dysfunction. If you determine that pharmaceuticals are your only effective option and you steel yourself to the realities of how much is Viagra going to set you back, then do considering ordering from a Canadian online pharmacy. In 2012, generic manufacturers were allowed to create their own versions, resulting in a multitude of companies offering generic versions of VIAGRA.

How and Where to Buy Viagra Online?

The prices shared above are for online pharmacies. If you're to get your Viagra prescription filled at any local pharmacy in the US then you'll likely be quite shocked to find yourself paying upwards of $60 for one pill. Indeed, it is fair to say that you'll almost always get a better price ordering Viagra online from Canada. But let’s have a look at exactly why Viagra is so expensive, asides from the fact that it’s a popular medication and – as is the case in any market – products that sell well often have higher prices attached to them. Asides from the basic parameters of supply and demand, there's more the average guy should understand about why 'too much' is the only legit response to anyone asking how much is Viagra.

Is your packaging discreet?

We'll skip any discussion of generic Viagra for now, and say only that it's a suitably effective and legitimate affordable alternative to branded Viagra. The other factors playing into the price of Viagra apply to it the same way they do for other in-demand and mass-produced prescription medications. They include who the wholesale purchaser is (pharmacies themselves are retailers, essentially) and - perhaps more importantly - how well they've negotiated with the manufacturer. Then there's the pharmacy's mark up on it, which again tends to be higher than for other products that don't sell as well. As discouraging as that may seem, that's a big part of how profit in a capitalist system works. According to Health Canada, the generic medication should contain chemically identical medicinal ingredients and may vary in non-medicinal ingredients, preservatives, flavour, shape, colour, packaging or labelling.1 Active ingredient(s)Active ingredients are the substances in drugs that are responsible for the beneficial health effects experienced by consumers.

Pricing Factors

Lastly, there's the role of inequalities between the amount of plan coverage many men have with their health plans. Not surprisingly, many won't cover medications like Viagra or Cialis that are not considered 'necessary' for basic health. Those necessary medications can be more easily afforded if you're approved for Extra Help through Medicare. Of course, the problem is that Viagra isn't one of the medications that will meet their criteria, and as such you're left still in shock with your understanding of how much is Viagra. Here’s where we will put in a brief promotion of generic Viagra (sildenafil).

Key Ingredient

It’s typically available for much lower prices based on the same purchase quantity, and hundreds of men have already reported that it has the same effectiveness. But we'll assume that even the generic alternative of Viagra is prohibitively expensive for you. What other choices do you have for ordering this medication that's so essential to your sex life? Pfizer, the manufacturer of Viagra, has a patient over the counter drugs containing sildenafil assistance program you may qualify for. Tips for Affording Expensive Viagra Medication

We've gone over why it is that way and a few tips on how it might be more affordable for those who need it. Now let's talk about alternatives to Viagra that have at least some measure of effectiveness and are unknown to most men: Medications like alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine are injected into the side or base of the penis and can help a man achieve or maintain an erection for up to 40 minutes. These are usually alprostadil too, and the suppository is placed up the urethra of your penis using an applicator. The benefit of this option is that it typically stimulates an erection within 10 minutes and it can last up to 1 hour. Erectile dysfunction can sometimes be a result of low testosterone levels. Tablets:Supplied as blue, rounded, diamond-shaped tablets in doses of 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg. Oral dissolving film (ODF):Available as a 50 mg, thin, pale red-colored film (about 32 × 24 mm).

Key Aspects and Safety Measures for Buying Viagra from Canada

Being able to fill prescriptions and dispense medications like Viagra much more affordably is a big part of the appeal of these pharmacies. There's an important point to understand for those wondering how much is Viagra going to cost these days and looking at prices offered online. When you see an eye-catchingly low price like $6 per pill you need to look closer and see - as you almost certainly will - that the price is dependent on ordering a larger quantity of the medication. If you are regularly sexually active with your wife or partner then buying in bulk for a better per-pill price may be a good idea.
